Welcome to St. Anthony Catholic Church, Gbaja, Lagos!
Established in 1961 by Archbishop Leo Hale Taylor, St. Anthony’s Catholic Church has been a beacon of faith in Surulere, Lagos. Originally home to Catholics from various parts of Lagos Island, our church was born out of the need for a spiritual haven in the developing Surulere community.

In 2006, Rev. Fr. Obadina was transferred to Holy family Catholic church and Very Rev. Monsignor Bernard Okodua was move into the parish.
